The Biden administration is holding ammunition shipments to Israel, according to a report by Axios. A $95 billion foreign aid package — including $26 billion for Israel — was passed by Congress and signed by President Joe Biden last month.
In response to the news, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) stated on X, “This is wholly unacceptable. Israel, our closest ally in the Middle East, is under attack, but the Biden Administration is yet again caving to the pro-Hamas wing of his party. The administration must end this pause immediately.”
Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) said the U.S. should not be involved in the conflict, stating on X, “I said from the beginning if you support Israel, America should stay out and let them fight their own war and don’t let the Biden admin get involved. Now that Mike Johnson sent $26 billion to Israel AND $9 billion to Gaza (Hamas), the Biden admin has stopped shipping ammo to Israel, while Biden’s top donors — Gates, Soros, Rockefeller, and more are funding the Pro-Palestine college protests. And the American people get nothing.”
